THE ISOLATED DIVING BOARD

SPATIAL COMMUNICATIONS | 2022

Within this subject we were introduced to the powers of each drawing view, highlighted through particular themes, meaning we could draw focus into different aspects of the design. My Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills were enhanced massively throughout this experiment and semester one class. 

The layout of this poster allows for three different scenarios to take play. The elevation portrays a diver, spectator and man, all using and occupying different levels and aspects of the space, providing one potential way the space could be used and set out. The plan truly portrays this notion of “the isolated diving board” as the only operating space is the pool, highlighting the relationship between diver and space. The section also provides an alternate way, utilizing all three spaces.
